In memory of family and friends who have lost the battle with cancer; and in support of the ones who continue to conquer it! Post this on your LJ if you know someone who has or had cancer. 93% won't copy and paste this. Will you?

I have been going to WW since July and have lost 43.4 lbs. so far. Since Christmas I have been walking Teddy every night, going 1 to 1 1/2 miles each day. A week ago I decided to step it up, literally. Teddy and I get out around 10 each morning and walk for 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 miles. Until today. I wore different sneakers and ended up w/ a large blister on my big toe where it rubbed against the next toe. I wrapped it in lambswool and tried to walk this am but it was too painful. I had to come back. What's amazing is that this couch potato is really bummed out...I miss the walk. Who'd a thunk it.

Teddy is also very bummed out!

Smelly Teddy

My darling dog had to pee at 5:30ish Saturday morning and chased what he thought was a squirrel. He "caught" a skunk. Ewwwww!

Tomato juice doesn't work and the pet store wasn't open til much later. Smelly morning.

I bought so much Skunk Out the company's stock must have gone up on the Dow.

Handsome, smelly Teddy.

Figured I had better post so that my account won't be purged.

WW new points plus is going well...at least til the arrival of Cristmas gingerbread men with kalhua frosting. Oh, well.

My dog had to go out at 4:00 am and started barking. Turns out, he was trying to play with a new friend, a perfumed pussy. Boy, does he stink. As soon as the stores open, I need to buy some Skunkout. He really, really stinks.

My beloved Teddy, a thoughtful dog who chose not to throw up on the floor, but in soft comfort on my bed. Yech!

I have no clue what I am doing but I am going to muddle on.  This journal has been a place holder so I could join several communities, but I am going to give it a try.  Splash!  That was me, holding my nose, adjusting my water wings and bellyflopping into the LJ ocean.
